Bad Aunt loses lawsuit against her nephew.....

Regardless of the obvious merits of Connell’s case, a Connecticut jury took 25 minutes to decide against her $127,000 claim. Reports the NY Daily News:

Connell barely flinched when the jury’s verdict was read and then fled the Bridgeport courthouse without saying a word.

Her now 12-year-old nephew, Sean Tarala of Westport, Conn., was not in the courtroom.

“We just couldn’t find him, you know, liable for what happened,” a female juror said of the boy.

Connell, in her defense, had found it difficult to hold her hors d’oeuvres plate at a cocktail party in Manhattan, making the jury’s verdict rather unfair.

6. I think she sued both. And she refused a settlement from the insurer.

She should have grabbed it. What jury is going to find a 50 pound 8 year old guilty of negligence?

The witch should never have filed suit, but she CERTAINLY should have dropped it after his mum’s death...hasn’t he been through enough?

she won't have to worry about anyone being overjoyed to see her. Her wrist is safe from further injury.
