My current problems with the Democratic Party:

Not defending Social Security and other safety net items pretending it has something to do with the deficits they run. Pretending Americans are currently protected from market manipulations and securities fraud presently. And there is "free trade" which isn't about trade, but reallocations of multinational corporate investments. These are very important issues to us that recognize these issues around the false fluffy talk without addressing these problems. The breach of trust a most serious matter. What will the party do with us and what we will do about the party?

depression so far that we no longer believe that we CAN win. And I see that happening daily. Dems who have fought so long that they are tired. That they leave DU. That they leave the party and stop voting. I think that media is a part of this wearing down process and that it why so many of them are so negative.

Every morning I get up and join DU only to be more depressed as soon as I start reading what is happening in the world. And by this time in the day I begin to think that is exactly what the Rs and the centrists want. To wear us down so much that we feel and act hopeless.
