So are you getting or giving a drone for Xmas?

IMO, within a year, drones will be as common as smart phones. The govt. keeps talking about regulating them, but they're not quite there.

So what happens when millions of drones are out there peeking into windows, crashing into each other, and occasionally, bringing down an airliner?

Well, there's always the possibility that gun owners will start shooting them down.

In the meantime, let's all practice "duck and cover."

Actually, I was thinking of getting this little indoor drone for my brother: https://www.thegrommet.com/toys-games/axis-drones You can't get into much trouble with something like this.

Just fly it in open country and never over 400 feet. I would be to to nervous over a neighborhood. Love playing with it.

It's never too soon to start. (I saw a Xmas add on TV right after Labor Day.)

I think "The War on Christmas" should be a year-round endeavor to drive the wingnuts crazier than they already are.

Perhaps we can all get drones and form them into herds that go Christmas caroling off-tune.

Which is why if you want a drone, you better get it right fucking now, and fly it "under the radar" so to speak...

Seriously, my drone is a toy. It's utterly harmless. Asking me to register it is laughable.

and tons more will be given as gifts this Christmas. There's absolutely zero chance that a registration plan would work this late in the game.

I love my goofy little drone. It's one of the most entertaining devices I've ever owned.

$1300.

Phantom 3 Professional drone.
4K video, 12K photo, 3-axis stabilization gimbal, live HD view.

For most people, it's just a new expensive toy.

Drone. Drone. Huh, what? That guy on Fox "News" said something? Great. Drone. Drone.

Duck and cover. And pour another shot of tequila.
