I know he wanted the Presidency, but truly think he is better off without it.

I feel some relief, as well as sadness. I would not like Trump raking him over the coals.

Biden is the anti-Trump in a lot of ways. Trump acts like a tough guy. Joe is a tough guy. Trump is an unempathetic bigot. Joe has one of the biggest hearts of any elected official. Trump has never had to suffer or struggle a day in his life. Joe Biden has been through the ringer and still came out of it smiling, even if wiping a tear from his eye while doing so. Take all that into consideration and go back to my first point about who the tough guy really is. Joe could match Trump's big mouthed, brash, take no prisoners act and throw it back at him with actual credibility and sincerity behind it.

Democratic Party messages through the gutter in a slug-out with Hillary, he's going to be using his considerable talents to spread the message of what we want to achieve. Elevating and broadcasting our message while the GOP founders with an out-of-control crowd of candidates the right wing really doesn't want.

IMO, this is the best possible thing that could have happened.

He is a very good man and put aside naked ambition to do the right thing and history will be kind on the man.
By right thing, I don't mean not disrupting the primary but going on to live out the rest of his very public life with class.

This must've been a very tough decision for him. Happy he's not running but he would've been a good president. Thanks, Joe for being a mensch!
