It's how the GOP deals with women.,...including intruding on their bodies, literally, through laws that restrict choice and health care options that are preventatvie.

Why so prissy about all this?

They despise women as a party... it's clear that this MOB was out to harm her....deliberately...

And, it's true...she came through it... but harm WAS ATTEMPTED....

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

I'm sure vitims of gang rape felt just like Hilly did today.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Thu Oct 22, 2015, 08:24 PM, and the Jury voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Yeah... no.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Over the top
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Completely inappropriate
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Poor analogy, sure. But aren't people allowed to be angry? To be hyperbolic while venting isn't that awful.
We all see worse than this.

The GOP has given us "legitimate rape" and state-ordered forced invasive ultrasounds which have bern likened to "state sanctioned rape."

I am fed up with sugar coating the GOP's attitude toward women...

Women are psychologically abused constantly in this country and we don't need to let so-called "leaders" off the hook...

Incredibly offensive and triggering description. I share your sentiments about what a political hit squad this was, and how cool Hillary was under fire, but please change your description.

Rape is about power and domination and disempowering the victim. That's exactly what the Repigs were attempting to do; dominate and disempower HRC.

Teaparty ought to count their blessings if that is all the ADULTS do is get angry and say things.

Because the way they treated Hillary and their desire to kill Women who have sex, well that is really something you know.

When are people going to realize that the teaparty wants to kill Women who have sex without their permission?

You see that is what this abortion thing is about.

If you have sex outside of the ACCEPTABLE ways you must have the baby or risk DEATH in an illegal, unsafe back alley abortion.

So, all in all, if the worst thing the ADULTS do is say some outrageous words, so be it.

A senate hearing, power relations and dominance aside, is NOTHING like having your boundaries completely destroyed in one of the most intimate ways possible.

This is NOTHING like rape. How about we stop using that word to describe things like being questioned by Congress for 11 hours.

The fact that this despicable thread survived a jury speaks volumes for just how far DU has sunk...

Where was she penetrated? Was she held down as they attempted to rape her? Was it just vaginal rape, or did they try and sodomize her as well? Forced oral?

Or was it actually just a bunch of assholes asking her pointed questions for 11 hours as she sat behind a microphone...

This is a disgusting, disgusting OP and I am sickened that a jury let it stand...

Talk to a REAL rape victim and see if they think what they went through was in any way shape or form like going in front of a congressional committee...

Fucking sick...
