Gloria Darden, the mother of Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old Baltimore man who died from extensive injuries sustained while he was in police custody last April, has attempted to take her own life, Baltimore’s WJZ reports.

Her pain is deeper than the ocean, my heart goes out to her and all her loved ones. I can not imagine the dispair.
