(7,160 posts)Sucking up the airtime with their insanity is why Kasich gets so little coverage. He just as big of an asshole just sounds nicer most of the time.

(10,500 posts)He ran a bunch of ads in New Hampshire and got himself to about 11-12 percent in most polls. That put him in second or third place in most of them.
He also got his national numbers up a little and beat Rick Perry onto the debate main stage. Then he got his national number up a little more.
In the end, he couldn't sustain it. His national numbers fell back, he never rose in Iowa or South Carolina and he also saw his numbers dip in New Hampshire, with other candidates surpassing him.
