Chris Rock Tweets Insensitive (But Accurate) Joke About Lamar Odom
They say laughter is the best medicine, but perhaps in this case it's just a tad too soon.
Chris Rock's message for Lamar Odom to "stay strong" hasn't gone over so well since it was tweeted along with a Someecard joke (written by Rock, note the copyright) that read, "Here's to Lamar Odom on being the first guy in history to have coke and hookers save his marriage."
Accurate? Yes. Insensitive? Probably.
While the 35-year-old's health issues seem to have sparked a reconciliation with estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, Odom hasn't made it out the woods yet. The former NBA player is still in the hospital after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13. On Thursday, People magazine reported that he's in a "very fragile state," as he underwent surgery in connection to his pneumonia and is still receiving dialysis.
