Sometimes the best cure is pizza, beer & a western

For some reason life put a constant stream of Carson and Trump supporters in my path today.

On the way home I filled the growler and picked up a pizza.

Into the player went my favorite western, One Upon A Time In The West.

After a bit of Henry Fonda, Jason Robards, and Claudia Cardinale the day ended very well!!

In high def, on a big screen, with a good sound system.

Never figured out how they did the scene with Jack Elam and the fly!!!

The Man with No Name/Dollars trilogy was fantastic too.

I can always watch those movies, they never get old.

We are blessed in the Pacific Northwest with a microbrewery in every town, or it just seems like it.

Ours does an ale with local peaches that is amazing!

can be refreshing to this 21st century person.

Growing up in Colorado I had that every day and grew to loathe it. Watching the cowboys on tv is cool, being raised (and hogtied) by a Justice Cowboy was not fun.

I'm 52 and never really cared for them, but the main reason is so many RW-ers I know seem to adore the cowboy/western culture/genre. So I love shitting in their cheerios out of pure spite.

Like this one. It's a classic struggle between good and evil. Actually has a meaningful story. Plus you get to see the really bad guy side of Henry Fonda.
