"David Vitter wouldn't last a day at West Point."

John Bel Edwards comes out swinging on Vitter's lack of integrity in the first ad of the runoff campaign for Louisiana governor. He is more conservative than most DUers would like, but he is the kind of Democrat who can win in Louisiana. If he pulls this off, the South is no longer solid red, and he provides a blueprint for others

We can only run the Dems that will WIN. If we insist that every Dem be "lefter than thou" we'll "enjoy" a GOP majority, every damn time.

Even conservative Dems will either take a powder (miss the plane) or vote the way the leadership tells them to when the rubber meets the road and a vote needs to go a certain way.

The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step!

It's a good ad--it'll work down that way.

FWIW, all I can do is picture Vitter marching in a little gray uniform top and a big white diaper....!!!! He sure wouldn't last a day!!!
