Before flying to Colorado for the third Republican presidential debate, John Kasich expressed frustration at the statements and positions of his Republican opponents during a rally in Columbus Tuesday, citing Trump's plan to gather up 11 million illegal immigrants and dumping them at the border; Carson's plan to eliminate Medicare and Medicaid, and Bush being Bush as examples.
This sounds kind of intriguing. I'd like to see Kasich do what he said he will do and see what it does to his polling numbers and the response he gets from Trump, Carson, Bush and the rest.

(7,160 posts)Kasich was hated in Ohio and was sure to lose after the right to work bullshit but he won by a huge landslide. I know 3 democrats personally who voted for him because he expanded medicaid, I was so pissed at them but they did it anyway. He scares me because he talks a good talk and sounds reasonable. He isn't reasonable he is as Conservative as they come. He will further destroy the Country.

(50,237 posts)He's got no charisma and says nothing to get the attention of the loonies who are slobbering all over Trump and Carson. It's less than a hundred days before the primary voting begins and I can't see how any of the semi-sane overtake the true crazies.
