(111,245 posts)After years of being ex hippie slobs, we're finally fashionable, not that we've ever given much of a shit.
I'm sitting here in LL Bean jeans, Reebok high tops, an old T-shirt and a thrift shop cardigan that's crummy enough I don't go out the front door in it. If I go to the grocery later, I'll change the T shirt and cardigan to something a little more presentable but that's it.

Sure, I've seen it more often since the look became fashionable in some circles (that is to say, hipsters...)...but it's also been a common look for guys up here for decades and decades. Always kinda liked it, for all it's almost the polar opposite of my usual kinda goth-y look.
