Brigdeport Police Union endorses CONVICTED FELON JOE GANIM

http://www.ctpost.com/news/article/Ganim-gets-police-union-s-official-support-6363920.php

"On Thursday, the city’s police union, after interviewing most of the Democratic candidates for the job of Bridgeport’s chief executive, including incumbent Bill Finch, chose the one who held it for 12 years until he was sentenced to prison for corruption."

In 2003, Joe Ganim was convicted on 16 counts of corruption. Simply put, if you didn't give him cash/gifts/vacations, you projects were not approved.

Yet another reason police "unions" should be banned.

Hearing so many cops not getting punished when they should be fired is clouding my judgement.
