Everytime I see the phrase "years YOUNG" when referencing an older individual, I think of that old guy at Normandy, who, when introduced on TV during the celebratory remembrance festivities by some earnest reporter as something like "95 years YOUNG," turned to the reporter and said "Up your ass!" I guess they learned the benefits of the Seven Second Delay--even when dealing with the elderly!

I may have the specifics wrong, but I'll never forget that guy's attitude!

Here we are so many years later and I have even more respect for him.

I can't say that for too many politicians.

For some perspective (and an embarrassing disclosure), many years/decades ago, I kind of thought Dick Cheney was smart and Rumsfeld was ok. Obviously, like most, my feelings about those war criminals changed quite a bit.
