In this country right now

We have white males (mostly) who open carry their weapons and advocate against our government with some advocating a violent overthrow.

Now imagine for a moment a darker skinned group doing this be they Muslim, African American, or others.

What would the tolerance level be then?

Oh but we've moved past racism in this country.

if it's my kid, was an innocent mistake. If it's your kid, throw the book at them. It starts in elementary school.

http://thescoopblog.dallasnews.com/2014/08/armed-demonstrators-march-through-south-dallas-to-protest-police-shootings.html/

Two dozen protesters from a gun club named for the founder of the Black Panther Party marched through the streets of South Dallas on Wednesday.

The open-carry rally was organized by the Huey P. Newton Gun Club to promote self-defense and community policing in response to recent police shootings.

“We think that all black people have the right to self defense and self determination,” said Huey Freeman, an organizer. “We believe that we can police ourselves and bring security to our own communities.”

...the attitudes and enforcement of law towards people of color is the same?
A black man carrying a weapon will be treated the same?

No imagination required. See above.

Than walking into Target store or just down the street or a place of business.

For instance. While on a recent trip to the eye doctor during a vacation in Montana a white guy walked in packing a hand gun strapped to his side on his belt holster.

Now again I say. Imagine if he didn't look like a redneck with his cowboy hat?

can't even go to his job as a teacher without being accosted. We're definitely a long way from being a non racist country. I don't think we'll get there until many people die off from old age. I notice that the younger generation aren't as racist as our generation was. I'm 67 YO just in case anyone wonders where I'm coming from.
