68% of Trump supporters would vote for him as a 3rd Party Candidate
Donald Trump is touting a new poll that shows a strong majority of his supporters would abandon the Republican Party to support him if he launched a third-party bid.
Trump tweeted out a link to a USA Today-Suffolk University poll shortly after it was released on Tuesday. Donald J. Trump–Verified account @realDonaldTrump A new poll indicates that 68% of my supporters would vote for me if I departed the GOP & ran as an independent. https://www.facebook.com/DonaldTrump/posts/10156389951165725:0 … The poll illustrates a nightmare scenario for the GOP, as many believe Trump would siphon off enough of the Republican vote to doom the party's presidential hopes. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/262486-poll-trumps-supporters-would-stick-with-him-for-a-third So much for the RNC pledge.. Trump basically tells the Republican party he owns them. ![]() Trump will break the Republican party in 2016, as a 3rd Party ticket. ![]()

1. 68% of 30% of 30%
Not a lot of voters in the grand scheme of things but certainly enough to help the Dems coast to victory.

2. Trump stepped in this race to dismantle the Bush criminal dynasty.
My Opinion:
Because Trump despises the Bush family for GW's mortage fiasco which cost him a billion or mor in realestate property which in turn, caused Trump's bankruptcys. This is Billionaire Hardball & once Trump recovered from GW's fiasco mortgage decision as President, Trump set out to even the score. He is a business man first & always. This how I see Trump as a Pres candidate. |

3. That's a good theory
Makes more sense than the Clinton conspiracy. If annihilating Jeb! is his goal, then he has to stay in past the convention, just in case the GOP gets up to shenanigans to anoint Jeb. Then, he'll have to go 3rd party. It'll interesting to see if he is truly "all in."

5. I feel that if the GOP doesn't nominate him he will run as an Independent
and any votes he gets will by and large hurt the GOP nominee and help the Democrats--so it's fine with me.
