Hillary's data director too lame to search Bernie's data base....

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by BooScout (a host of the General Discussion forum).

Seriously, do all of you guys with your knickers in a twist about this really believe that Hillary's staff is too honorable to peek into Bernie's files when the door is left wide open? This is politics, and there is always a lot of skulllduggery going on beneath the surface. Details are not necessarily known by the candidate, but information discovered is often used by the campaign.

Let's not get too involved with infighting over this or Hillary's past peccadilloes.

Save the energy and emotion to prevent a President Trump or Presidente Rafael Eduardo Cruz.

1. Did they?

Or is this just conjecture and speculation?

But you can bet if they did....Sanders Supporters would be apoplectic!

4. Pure conjecture...

The Clinton data director may not have known about the glitch.

But life experience tells me that if most people see a confidential memo on the desk and no one is watching, they will take a peek.

Maybe we should have years of Congressional hearings?

I think not.

2. Maybe they just didn't want to play a Cheat to Beat game?

http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2015/12/18/sanders-campaign-disciplined-for-breaching-clinton-data/?_r=0

The Democratic National Committee has told the campaign of Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont that it was suspending its access to its voter database after a software error enabled at least one of his staff members to review Hillary Clinton’s private campaign data....

The Sanders campaign said that it had fired a staff member who breached Mrs. Clinton’s data. But according to three people with direct knowledge of the breach, there were four user accounts associated with the Sanders campaign that ran searches while the security of Mrs. Clinton’s data was compromised....

... “After discussion with the D.N.C., it became clear that one of our staffers accessed some modeling data from another campaign. That behavior is unacceptable and that staffer was immediately fired.”

He added that the errors had also “made our records vulnerable.” Despite repeated requests, the Sanders campaign did not provide information about the other user accounts that were involved.

How high up were those "other user accounts that were involved?" Maybe they should have those "knickers in a twist."

3. So far, it sounds like Bernie's campaign was the one that cheated.

I notice a lot of deflection.

6. Cheating is not part of the Sanders brand...

Therefore, it must be denied or deflected.

5. "They did it too!"

"Well, there's no evidence that they did, but I think they would have, so they are just as guilty as the ones who did."

9. I'm shocked, shocked that gambling is going on in here!

This is a pretty minor transgression in the world of politics.

"Deflection" must be the word of the day.

8. There's an easy to follow footprint of who accessed files from

which campaign, which is how the DNC caught the Sanders Data director.

10. "Save the energy and emotion to prevent a President Trump" rather than accusing Hillary's staff

of being lazy.

Let's not get too involved with infighting over this or Hillary's past peccadilloes.

YES!

11. How pathetic

Is this how Bernie supporters really want to handle this story? By saying Hillary is too lame to CHEAT like Bernie? Seriously? I can't wait for the primaries to be over.

14. Why would she want to?

Only one side has the motivation to try to erode her support, she's doing fine with supporters.
