Source: CNN
The agent's belongings were taken from his personal vehicle while it was parked on G Place in downtown Washington around 4 p.m. ET.
A report filed with the Metropolitan Police Department several hours later describes the agent returning to his car and noticing the back rear window of his car had been "unzipped." The report says the agent noticed "a bag with the listed property was taken out of the vehicle."
The report lists a black Sig Sauer handgun, an APX6000 radio, handcuffs, a USB flash drive, a black Patagonia bag and a Secret Service badge, number 1266, as the stolen items.
The agent, who isn't named in the report but who a source said works in the Presidential Protective Division, saw a person reaching into the vehicle, the report states, "but didn't see him take anything out."

(54,268 posts)This just goes beyond all limits of the imaginable. If there's an excuse for this, the guy should be writing novels and be on the NYT bestseller list for fiction.
In 1995, my dad was requested to give a code name for the SS agent assigned to protect Clinton from frontal assault when my dad was next to him giving a speech. My dad said he had no idea what kind of code name to give a Secret Service Agent. They said, well he had to make up one. So, my dad named the agent "Placido Flamingo." The agent grimaced, but he didn't groan too loudly.

Maybe it's time to redesign the Treasury badges, anyway. Draw a line under this fucked - up crew. They've been awful since the mid-Porgie days, and the fact is, most of these morons were hired by Curious George's crew.

(32,641 posts)credentials that allow access to the white house, and a secret service radio in a car with a zipper window? Normal people with nothing to lose wouldn't be that stupid, so I refuse to believe a professional secret service agent would. Fire him, revoke his cards, access, etc.
