So I started watching Morning Schmoe again, after like 2 years of not watching due to it's radical RW rhetoric.
It's been a few months now and it hasn't changed, I just view it differently, like I watch FOX to see what the enemy is saying.
This morning they announced a new show w/the blowhards Mark Halperin and John Heilemann called "With All Due Respect"
Watching it now on my DVR and it's just Morning Schmoe in afternoon form.
This network has really gone to the dogs.
I honestly don't think it can get any worse.
Rhandi is gone, Big Ed is gone...WTF!?!?!
There really isn't any liberal view points in the media left.
2016 is going to be an interesting year.

(4,959 posts)MSNBC to replay Bloomberg TV's 'With All Due Respect' show
by Brian Stelter

...Replacing a fiery liberal talk show host like Sharpton with the insidery duo of Mark Halperin and John Heilemann is a statement by Andy Lack, the chairman of NBC News and MSNBC, about his vision for the cable news channel.
Lack is in the process of remaking the channel, seemingly away from partisan opinion and toward political news.
Lack was previously an executive at Bloomberg TV. And Heilemann and Halperin are regulars on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." So the deal isn't necessarily surprising, but it's still somewhat head-scratching.
Bloomberg isn't rated by Nielsen; there's scant evidence that "With All Due Respect" is a ratings draw.
MSNBC already has its own political talk show, Chuck Todd's "MTP Daily," at 5 p.m.; "With All Due Respect" is a competitor.
And Bloomberg TV as a whole is a competitor to MSNBC's sister business news channel CNBC.

(23,573 posts)Just the fact that anyone can contribute and edit a Wikipedia article, in itself can foster a biased position. Furthermore, if their criteria for claiming a "Liberal Bias" in the media is based on these criteria: Race, welfare reform, environmental protection and gun control, then I say let there be more liberal bias in the media. Would you prefer the press taking positions where they advocate or support racial discrimination, encourage pollution, taking away whatever safety nets that currently exist for the needy and abolishing gun controls?
The authors and organizations used to support the Liberal Media bias position of this Wikipedia article are themselves conservatives.
"Jim A. Kuypers of Dartmouth College investigated the issue of media bias in the 2002 book Press Bias and Politics. In this study of 116 mainstream US papers, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle, Kuypers stated that the mainstream press in America tends to favor liberal viewpoints. They argued that reporters who they thought were expressing moderate or conservative points of view were often labeled as holding a minority point of view. Kuypers said he found liberal bias in the reporting of a variety of issues including race, welfare reform, environmental protection, and gun control.[46] According to the Media Research Center, and David Brady of the Hoover Institute, conservative individuals and groups are more often labelled as such, than liberal individuals and groups.[47]

This is when we switch to PBS.
This evening we did not even try since ABC News already reported many standing in line in Burlington.
