I wonder if he cries when he kills innocent people with drones. Probably not.

People get angry around here when it is pointed out that Obama kills innocent people with drones. Not angry that innocent people are killed, but angry that it is pointed out when a Democrat does it.

That sarcasm icon doesn't negate your conflating two entirely different issues.

Very clever? Ha.

The ones that plan[ned] atrocities, including Dick Cheney, would have to help pick up the pieces of the people who were sent to carry out their plans. The suicide bombers get of the hook, because they can't lift a finger.

Then why are there just as many deaths and injuries, if not more, as firearms?
Vehicles are very efficient at killing multiple people at once, it happens quite often in this country.

Only to be licensed to operate in public, not to simply own.

and those of us who drive them are tested and licensed?

Again, only in public. Testing and license is not required when driving on private property.

Why not do that with guns as well?

What you refer to already exists. Its called license to carry (in public).

I guess you don't get out much. It happens every day, all year long, from farm trucks to race cars, both in dirt and on pavement. America is a very large and very busy place.

and of course, guns in private homes NEVER harm ANYONE!

That's neither here nor there.

You made the comment about safety standards, testing and licensing.

I explained how and why that applies in reality, and how and why we already have the thing you were asking for, in the form of a concealed carry license. Whats the problem here, exactly?

If you are a law abiding citizen these laws shouldn't bother you.

Um...what laws did I say bothered me, in this exchange with you?

The number of new totalitarians in this party is REALLY starting to squick me. I get the overriding feeling I'm not wanted among these people anymore. Maybe I never have been?

That would be kind of depressing.

I am not going to contribute to candidates this year, for me there really isn't many Democrats running in Texas.

Who are the best gun control organizations to contribute to. I don't want one that uses 90% of its money for administrative costs.
