Aren't these people supposed to be rugged individualists and John Galts? Why do these people have to ask someone to send them the things they need? I do not care about whether or not they forgot to bring these things; my concern is why can they not figure out how to get these things without asking for help. Also, why can these people not live off the land? Are there not any animals in that area that they can kill to use for food and warmth? How are these people supposed to be rugged individualists and john Galts if they cannot provide for themselves without asking for help from others and using the federal government to get the help to their location?
