I guess the Justice Department getting involved gave him no option.
FLINT (WJRT) - (01/05/16) - Governor Rick Snyder has declared a state of emergency in Flint.
This comes a day after city and county leaders signed off on an emergency declaration.
This means Snyder has made available all state resources to the response efforts in Flint to deal with the hazardous lead levels in the water.
It authorizes Michigan State Police, Emergency Management and Homeland Security to coordinate with local leaders to help citizens affected

(26,256 posts)He got the 'right to work' legislation passed by locking people out of the Capital bldg and holding a middle of the night vote. He signed an extension on the Film incentive, and then got bullied by the tea party talaban into cutting it out of the budget, losing Michigan a whole lot of jobs and money. All because of the 'Liberal Hollywood' meme garbled by his ilk. He is less a governor than a despot dictator.
