http://www.themaneater.com/stories/2016/1/5/missouri-republicans-ask-curators-fire-professor-m/Over 100 faculty members signed this letter. It is an interesting way to characterize a battery and attempt to restrain the press from doing their job.
"We believe that her actions on November 9 constitute at most a regrettable mistake, one that came, moreover, at the end of several weeks during which Click served alongside other faculty and staff as an ally to students who were protesting
what they saw as their exclusion from and isolation at the University."

that stated they supported the discipline review process of the University. They characterized a battery and attempt to restrict the press as a mistake. That is wrong.

(18,585 posts)3. Yeah, umm. No. Quite a bit more than 'a regrettable mistake'.
Backing into your neighbor's car is a 'regrettable mistake'. Flushing the toilet and hearing your SO yelp from the suddenly scalding water is a 'regrettable mistake'.
This, coming from someone who damned well knows better, and TEACHES that-- is a class one, prime rib FUCK UP of XXL proportions.

All this letter tells me is that there may be about 100 other professors who perhaps shouldn't be teaching.

She needs to be dismissed.
