Why doesn't the fed seize the assets and property of the birdhouse terrorists?

Now that a judge has ruled that they can be fined for their daily occupation of the wildlife reserve, why doesn't the fed simply seize their assets as payment?

I missed a $100 tax payment in 2006 and was told that $600 worth of my wages could be seized. Why can't some proportionate seizure take place to compensate for the unlawful use of and damage to federal property?

You could get a bunch of gunz...but then you'd have to build a bunker and get a tarp...just too much work for the middle of winter.

nice to them and hope that they'll eventually leave.

Then, no charges so they know they're good boys who did a "good thing" and can do whatever they want to in the future, knowing that they, as right wing, white men with guns are allowed to do whatever they please, with zero consequences.

Personally, I think they should revoke their US citizenship. They fancy themselves "sovereign citizens" and answerable to no one but...(?) that's not really clear. They are anti-government, except when they take a government agency to court or need help during a disaster and cheap grazing rights, social security, Medicare/Medicaid, and so on.

Since their citizenship comes through the legislation and constitution in place from the same government they want to overthrow, I think they should have their citizenship and any subsequent rights granted through same, revoked.

However, it will be interesting to see what the various government agencies are doing behind the scene.

He was just expressing his intentions should they ever be convicted of something, which apparently wom't ever happen because they are never arrested or charged. Basically, he was blowing off steam.

Regardless of the judge's standing to rule here, the basic question remains: why has the fed done nothing?

Waco is a poor example, because Koresh wasn't occupying or damaging federal property.

Ruby Ridge is likewise a poor example for the same reason.

Will these birdhouse terrorists suffer the same ghastly fate as Clivon Bundy? To wit, will they be forced to live out the rest of their lives as Rightwing heroes facing no impact, consequences or repercussions for their federal crimes?

For prior offenses. They owe millions in fines they refuse to pay. I was always under the impression that in itself was a crime.

Or maybe they don't have anything worth seizing , although I read that one of them has a million-dollar home in Idaho.

Sieze it, sell it to someone else who wants to run a truck repair joint, and keep the difference as restitution in lieu of fines and further judgment.

He loses his business and total personal value of a half million. Might make him reconsider acting a fool
