13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

"An American Ambassador is killed during an attack at a U.S. compound in Libya as a security team struggles to make sense out of the chaos."
... a 2016 American biographical action war thriller film produced and directed by Michael Bay and written by Chuck Hogan, based on the 2013 book 13 Hours by Mitchell Zuckoff. It is based on the story of the six members of a security team who fought to defend the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, after a terrorist attack on September 11, 2012.

(How,if at all, will this affect HRC's prospects for the Democratic nomination?)

If anything, I think this may end up helping Hillary, because the guy who ordered the CIA contractors to stand down was the CIA chief there at that station.

http://atlanta.cbslocal.com/2016/01/15/rashad-richey-interviews-benghazi-soldiers/

The newly released film 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi details the true story of six elite ex-soldiers detailed to protect CIA agents embattled with terrorists that attacked a U.S. diplomatic compound on September 11, 2012. Three of the six elite soldiers spoke with Rashad Richey about the film and how they didn’t allow the highly politicized attack deter them from telling their story.

I would bet on the right there are true believers who think this is a silver bulllet - even though it is fiction. I also remember the reaction on Democratic sites to F911 - it "destroyed Bush". In fact, I saw the film because I was in a book club that opted to see the film that month rather than read a book. I was nowhere near as involved with DK, DU or even the Kerry blog because I was (strange to say so now) too shy to write anything.

Still I was stunned that in a group of NJ liberal Jewish women - the film was negatively received. The connect the dot lines to most seemed completely unproved. (Things like BCCI were known to no one but me) With that group - all were supporting Kerry.

The fact that someone alerted on this or the fact that a few others agreed to hide.

Anyway, I'm not sure what makes Bay a well known RW nut but his movies generally aren't that good. And this is a mainstream movie, not something produced by World Net Daily.

And everyone knows the name Citizens United, but most don't remember that it was about a movie that was anti Hillary the last time she was running for the Dem nomination.

There is a huge anti Hillary anti Clinton sentiment in this country.

It's just more Hillary hate.

Bernie will not run into this much organized hate if he should get the nomination.

It is something that needs to be thought about before we select a candidate to run for national office and a largely popular vote.

We should worry about her electability for the upcoming national election.

To not consider electability in an election is foolish and will leave us with President Trump.

To stubbornly stand behind a candidate who will lose the National is similar to a Nader vote on principle. How'd that Nader vote turn out for us back in 2000?

It doesn't matter how fictional it is, the right will take it as gospel, (as they do the bible), and the benghazi rallying cry will rise up once again to accost America with it's inane, screeching babble.
