There are moments I think the Internet was a mistake, and this is one of them.

(57,073 posts)Emma Watson posted a series of tribute tweets as a memorial to her late Harry Potter co-star Alan Rickman, but one in particular caused a rash of sexist criticism.
Watson, who played Hermione in the famous films and also happens to be a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and spokesperson for the HeForShe campaign, tweeted a heartfelt statement about Rickman's death and followed it with graphics of some of her favorite quotes of his.
One of those, about feminism, really seemed to tick off some Twitter users, and we can probably all guess why, since she didn't get that kind of negative response from any of her other dedications.

Mostly they are whimpering little boys who can't deal with adult life, and project all their fear and hostility onto women, rather than having the spine to handle their own shit."
Sometimes the Urban Dictionary nails it...lol.
