Wife of freed Boise pastor gets call from president
BOISE - After spending more than three years in an Iranian prison, Saeed Abedini is now one huge step closer to home. The Boise pastor arrived in Germany overnight with three other Americans released by Iran on Saturday as part of a prisoner swap.

Sunday, President Barack Obama spoke about the release.
"Pastor Saeed Abedini is coming home," the president said. "Held for three-and-a-half years, his unyielding faith has inspired people around the world in the global fight to uphold the freedom of religion."

Saeed's wife, Naghmeh, posted on Twitter Sunday afternoon that she had spoken with the president and had a wonderful call with him, saying, "Our family is so thankful for all the hard work and support in bringing Saeed home."
