A small rant about unwanted fornication.

I ran out of Co Q 10 caps.
If you take a statin for high cholesterol, you should probably be taking Co Q 10.
Look it up.

Anyway...
Miz t. was going into town for groceries and stuff.
Did I need anything?
Yep, some Co Q 10 caps.
"How many and what dosage?"
"100miligram and this bottle had 120 caps."

That bottle was about 5" high and was about half full, new.
Why do vendors do that?
So it looks like you're getting more than you are.
Stay with me here, OK?

The new ones she brought home were in two (it was a 2-fer) small (2"?) bottles of 60 caps each.
Each bottle was about 1/3 full.

So we've got GROSS over-packaging in non-biodegradable plastic.

Yes, it's a small thing, but I am so pissed at being fucked over by pharma, insurance, banks, and just marketing in general.

End Of Rant.

It's even worse, a bottle 4" tall and 3" wide with about 1/2" of the tiny pills in the bottom. It's ridiculous.

It (and magnesium supplement) changed my life.

My pharmacy lets me give them back the old bottles, at least.

Question. Did the two smaller bottles cost more, total, than one large bottle?

....that the bottle of 200 mg capsules costs less per mg than the bottle of 100 mg capsules. I take 400 mg daily.

Look at your what used to be 1lb. can of coffee. It's about 14 ounces. Look at your what used to be 1 quart jar of mayonnaise, it's 28 ounces, not 32. They make the packages look the same size, and then fill them part way. In the mayonnaise jar example they shape the jar so as to make it look the same size, but look at the dimple in the bottom of the jar. It makes it harder to get the last bit out too.
