We need to purge Friedman's Economic Policies from the Democratic Party

And yes that means you Mr Obama.

Time has come that Washington and the rest of this country needs to admit these policies have FAILED Miserably and weakened this country to the point of loosing our Democracy.

Our strangth has been Outsourced Overseas to Corrupt Oppressive Communist Dictatorships that use the profits gained from the American Market Place to subvert democracy on a Global scale - UN-AMERICAN

We have oppressed the Working Class of this country to the point of diminishing all hope for our future generations. Defunded Education, Suppressing Inovation, limiting the very premise this country was built upon - "Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happyness. In short they have destroyed the American Dream.

The victims of the abusive relationship that is the Democratic party and it's core constituencies is not going away any time soon as long as the cries of "Where else will we go?!?!? What other options do we have?!?!?!" permeate the thinking of far too many voters.

Far too many Democrats are far too timid to do anything that might in any way communicate to anyone that someone might be less than 100% enthralled with anything and everything the Democratic party does for fear of it influencing someone maybe, somewhere who might possibly, someday consider voting for a Democrat. Because don't you realize that those are the people we need to appeal to!!?!?!?!

Making corny, pretend speeches on the internet will have to suffice for now.

in a hundred years, assuming humanity survives for that long, Milton Friedman will be mentioned in the same breath with the other great totalitarian monsters of our time as having contributed immeasurably to the suffering of hundreds of millions of people. His ideas rank with those of Stalin and the moustachioed Austrian corporal in terms of their sheer destructiveness to the human race.

that requires corporate "persons" to behave as psychopaths. He legitimized blind short-term self-interest and the rape of the commons.

The predictors were ignored mightily - but they were there.

Back issues of Harper's from the 1980's will describe where we are now in quite stunning clarity.

That's just one ignored source of sanity.

I do not know what Obama but do worry that he is into what was taught at the same University that he taught at. He has yet to do anything to tell me he understands any of this.

I agree that loosing our democracy on the world would be a bad thing ... at least, not until we get it fixed.
