When you see all the things the GOP has done over the years to essentially fuck people. Sorry to put it that way but its true. You can have policies that are killing people, you can poison a community, you can ridicule parents who lost kids at Sandy Hook, you can essentially mock Gabby Giffords for her efforts, you can sleep around with prostitutes,and so on and so on. If you are a GOPPERS even if you are a serial killer you can get elected and stay elected.
If Snyder weren't term limited he would win again, and the GOP legislature will probably stay in tack. Look at all the GOP governors who have trashed their state. Walker continues to run amok and he will probably still win again if he runs. GOPPER supporters have NO standards unless it is a Democrat or some other nonGOPPER.
Responsibility and accountability is only for others. Besides these gerrymandered well off communities do not care because they are not effected and it is not their children or community. And the same is true with gun violence. In their view they have not been hurt by gun violence in their protected schools.
Plus the media allows the double standard. Snyder and his ilk will be very protected by the media and blame Flint officials for the problem even though they have NO power to do anything. The press will continue the lie and the issue will disappear.
