But her bizarre behavior has become a huge deal. Her tirade might cost her her job. After the video surfaced, she was put on administrative leave.
She confirmed the disciplinary action in the interview, "I've been indeed suspended and I don't even know when I'm going to get back to work. I'm getting a lawyer and a public relations firm but I don't know if it's going to do any good."
As I said before, I hope she gets the proper help.

(4,742 posts)I don't think she should lose any licenses to practice medicine, but as an employer I would terminate her. Frankly she made an extremely bad decision. Does she make lots of bad decisions? Maybe she wasn't a very good doctor to begin with. We don't know. But the bottom line is if you act like a complete insane person in public then you must reap what you sow.

(9,527 posts)She needs to find a way to make this not be the first/only thing people ever know about her. Think about the worst thing you ever said or done and ask if you'd like every future employer or date to have just that to judge you on.
Obviously she fucked up, but in the grand scheme of fuck ups, this is small potatoes. She didn't curb stomp kittens.

(1,683 posts)Said she just broken up with her boyfriend at the club and had an all around bad day (of course she made it worse). She apologized profusely and said it was all on her (though she felt there were mitigating circumstances).

(1,683 posts)While the incident was certainly off-the-wall, I would hope that it doesn't permanently ruin her life. I have had a couple of meltdowns in my past, fortunately before the advent of cell phone video and the innertubz.
I think the vast majority of us have had a meltdown that we damn sure wouldn't want on the internet in front of billions of people. As long as she fully cooperates with the hospital (and maybe the medical licensing board later on), I have no issues with her.

No animals were harmed in the process, so I hope people forgive the poor woman.
