Edit to Add: In many cases, you actually can't even see that much of the eyes.

(2,212 posts)If I had to summarize the contrast between the two cultures, I'd say much of the fundamentalist Muslim world depicted in this graphic is rejecting science and other forms of secular progress, while most of the West is focused on looking at the world around us, questioning dogma, and moving forward.
Compare the number of Muslim Nobel laureates (12) to the laureates of other cultures and faiths (Jews, for example, account for 170), and it's eye-opening. Clearly, something is awry.

This is false dichotomy.
They're not supposed to be summarily defined either as helpless victims or mindless savages. They have their own agency.
As for the West...it's on point for many folks, but I also wouldn't generalize all of them as being blind.
