(14,570 posts)These turds are domestic terrorists and need to be treated as such. Sure, they THINK they are patriots, but so do most people who commit acts of terror.
At least no innocent people were killed by these morons.

(42,755 posts)I wonder if that was a rumor or was there anything factual to back it up?

(5,330 posts)Once these yahoos realized law enforcement wasn't going to dick around with them any more, they got the hint.
Still a pretty careless move putting children in harm's way to begin with though...
I agree, a really stupid and reckless move on their part.

(10,952 posts)have no problem putting his wife and children in the front lines to be the first to be shot by the Fedd (I don't remember which one).
He is no better than the Islamic terrorists who push woman and children to become martyrs.

Fry tells me he's concerned that even if police let them go, they'll still be charged later.
Well duh! Of course it is possible for the Feds to go back and arrest any or all of the people who left. After the Feds process the refuge to determine what crimes were committed and who they have good cases against then the real fun would begin for these yahoos.
This is definitley the gang who could not shoot (or think) straight. If the Feds ever go after them for RICO charges, even those that aren't arrested yet this time could be in the data base for RICO charges in the future if they continue to be involved in activities like this.

People in Hell want icewater, too.
Of course they are going to be charged. Anybody that runs around pointing rifles at Law Enforcement agents, terrorizing the public and taking over Federal property should count themselves lucky when they are merely arrested.
This could have ended far worse than people going to jail.

(10,952 posts)been allowed to leave does not in any way, shape, or form mean that they might not face legal jeopardy. The Feds will not file charges until such time as they have their ducks all lined up. They still have to process the refuge for evidence and review all the volume of tweets, FB posts, youtube videos, interviews and so on. Anybody that ends up being prosecuted will be so because they pretty much handed the Feds the evidence on silver platters.
These are an uneducated bunch of buffoons. The legal system needs to start dealing with incidents like this so that actions meet consequences or we will continue to see more and more incidents like this. Letting the Bundy crowd get away with the stand against the Bureau of Land Management only embolded them.
