A Brief History of the Candidacy of Donald J. Trump

Last edited Thu Apr 14, 2016, 11:59 AM - Edit history (1)

Late Spring 2015

Bill Clinton has a private telephone conversation with The Donald at the same time the billionaire investor and reality-television star was nearing a decision to run for the White House, according to associates for both men. Clinton encouraged Trump's efforts to play a larger role in the Republican Party and offered his own views of the political landscape.

When did he start acting like a right wing lunatic, was it with the birther business? He could take the nomination and then do a 180 and go back to the types of positions he expresses in the video, essentially making it a choice between 2 democrats in the general. Far-fetched, I know, but his entire candidacy has been a theater of the absurd.

And Rush Limbaugh and all the hate talk radio morons are just lapping it up like the lemmings they are.

He never planned on winning. He never even expected to get this far.

His only goal is to destroy the Republican brand, and if he can, throw the race to Hillary.

As he's said himself repeatedly: "The economy does better under the Democrats."

And it's true. If you look at the history of the stock market, it's always done better under Democratic rule.

This is purely a business decision on his part. He doesn't give a fuck about politics.

It's all just a big game to him, and he's having the time of his life.
