I wish Keith Olbermann was back doing politics.

I realize that he's been fired many times because of his temper.
But, he is an outstanding writer.
I would love to see him back on tv doing political commentary.

I can't see it happening on MSNBC, though.
Joe Scarborough reportedly hates him and has told the network he would quit if they re-hired Keith.

I can't think of the new guys name that's the general manager at MSNBC.
But, I saw Joe praising him to the hilt when he was hired and how Joe was glad they were getting rid of what he called the "nighttime crazies".
I know the new GM is the one who dropped the "lean left" slogan they once used in promoting the network.
I'm really surprised that Lawrence O'Donnell is still on. Joe despises him. And, apparently Joes opinion matters to the new management.

I'm not normally a violent guy.
But, Joe is one guy that I would love to punch.

Joe has a viewership so small that it is really a misnomer to call it mass media.

and I despise Joe Scarborough who, for me, is unwatchable with his whiny right wing demeanor.

So, he's not on MSNBC anymore.

He could be doing many things that would keep his voice out in the political arena.

What about a radio program? Or his own social-media/youtube channel.

Even if he's doing sports, it's curious (and such a shame) that he barely comments on politics, at all.

I wish that Olbermann wouldn't have disappeared from political commentary. We need him.

But an independent YouTube channel will not give a commentator the same access to people and information as someone who works for a major cable channel. He's got a lot of interviews with sports figures on his channel but scanning through quickly I don't see any political figures.

A true talent. But, apparently the ego to match.
If he could just reign in the ego a little to get along with co-workers more, the sky would be the limit for him in either sports or politics.
He has a brilliant mind and such a way with words.
