An Dem acquaintance of mine almost a year ago said the R nominee would be Rubio. I thought he was nuts.

He's too busy beating himself, because Barack Obama knows exactly what he's doing.

4. It would seem to make sense...but Rubio is such an empty suit...

...that the efforts by the GOP "establishment" and the media to prop him up seem awfully fragile. I really doubt if he can pull his shit together...

The only person I'm even mildly worried about in that insane asylum is Kasich, and he isn't going anywhere.

I didn't think Trump would make it this far, but his trend is still up.

People talked about Reagan's teflon, and perhaps Trump has the same thing in voters' minds.

11. I can't see any reason why Trump won't win the nomination at this point.

18. There are some polls out there the show him moving into second over Cruz

It's hard to imagine a Haley endorsement making such a difference but if he pulls into second, the media will crown him the winner. After Jeb drops out, it will be a 3-way race between Rubio, Cruz and Trump. I'm not sure Trump could survive a 3-way race and Cruz will be hit from every direction so, under this scenario, I can certainly see Rubio breaking out.

13. As distasteful as he is, Trump should not be underestimated..

Look, I know he's full of it. But he does attract supporters. Unlike all the other candidates in the clown car..he says what he wants to say and doesn't worry about it. He doesn't do the evasive political speak of a normal politician..

When he spoke the truth about the Iraq war I almost fell out of my chair. There are more people who are suspicious about 9/11 than we want to admit to ourselves. If Trump hits on a few important issues that people really care about..economic ones...he could surge. His reaction to the Carrier Airconditioner jobs being outsourced was the best of the clown car.

I honestly think he has a shot...in part because the establishment can't see it and still doesn't take him seriously. It could be a crazy election...

... said Chris Christie about Rubio.
IMO, a debate with Hillary would leave Rubio peeing all over his cuban heels.
