I start my new job in Child Welfare on June 18th. I will be doing permanency, which is helping the parents either get their kids back or to find a permanent home for their kid they squandered. I'm very excited about this. This is my dream job, next to owning and running a used book store, but this is my "I'm going to make a difference" dream job. Very excited. Thought I'd share my big news with my other family.

I used to work next door at the detention center, and I'm so ready to get back to being a public servant instead of a corporate whore.
