"Real Time with Bill Maher"

Last night's show was a doozy:

Bill did (at minimum) a puffball one-on-one with retired/"retired" Gen. Michael Hayden (plugging his book), he of both the CIA and the NSA. The general was in dress but casual attire. (I remember when John Ehrlichman, after his guilt by association with Nixon, grew a big beard and moved to rural Santa Fe - got all folksy and stuff.)

Michael Eric Dyson gave an unequivocal endorsement of Hillary.

Fran Lebowitz said nothing of interest or import.

The Cosmo editor - wtf?

Highlight was Mark Ruffalo, calling out Jerry Brown for being a climate change poseur.

2. I just finished watching it--on demand--and it was definitely one of Bill's funniest shows recently

I get a kick out of Bill's transformation from ready to back Hillary to getting why Bernie.

We went to his show in Durham last summer and when he started in with "ready for Hillary" I shouted out--from
the audience--"Bernie". He did a double take because I suspect he wasn't expecting to hear support for
Bernie in NC last summer...but went on with his script to talk about Hillary.

The Cosmo editor is simply someone in an insulated position in NY. Not surprised.

Mark Ruffalo was great. Water really is going to become an issue, as though it hasn't already in some areas!

We, as a people, are going to regret letting companies frack. Big mistake. BIG mistake.
