Being surrounded by all these %$#@& Wisconsin trees, I have to step very far back to see the forest.

However, when I do step back for perspective, I realize that Wisconsin is only Round 1. On Wednesday (no later than Thursday depending on the proportions of the hangover), whatever the Tuesday outcome, we need to pull ourselves together and start moving to our next battle.

As big a deal as tomorrow seems to me, it's just a part of the whole, not the whole struggle. From Tien An Minh Square to Zuccatti Park and Montreal, from Iceland to Syria, the Revolution is on.

If we succeed tomorrow, learn from our lesson what to do.

If we fail tomorrow, learn from our lesson what not to do.

But carry on.

The revolution will not be televised. It will be blogged and tweeted.

You're correct, of course. Tomorrow is one more battle in the Long War. Win or lose this battle, the war itself continues...

needed a lot more national support earlier on. If we lose in Wisconsin, the fight in November will be a lot harder. And unions will lose big-time. I could understand if some union members question where the Democratic Party really stands on labor rights if they can't win in Wisconsin.

It may take more...to do...if WI loses tomorrow in throwing out the TRASH...

But, the Movement started there...and will carry on. I do believe that.

But, whichever way it goes...it isn't the end. And that WI stood up against terrible odds gives us all hope.

I'm thinking it will be a WIN Tomorrow...but...if it isn't it will be close and it gives hope for all the rest of us that massive movements by the "little people" can mean "BIG POWER" moving forward.

We shouldn't lapse into despair...because...it seemed to be easy enough.

With the POWERS that BE...nothing going forward will ever be easy or swift...but if WI can pull us forward (and I hope, pray and think they will) then it will be a BIG MOVE. If they lose and it will be close then we've still WON...moving forward with the organization gained by this Movement.

Fingers Crossed, Jackpine. Praying and (((VIBES))) for tomorrow!

From all i have read here, your governor is on of the biggest crooks ever. So how come he's so close to winning?

That, combined with a complicit press that portrays the John Doe investigation as a political witch hunt and an extremely negative campaign of lies against Barrett. The Koch ads are unrelenting in pushing an alternate reality in which everyone (except those hated teachers & government worker-parasites) is better off under Walker.

Just in the past day or 2 there has been an extensive phone campaign targeting the people who signed the recall petitions telling them they don't have to vote today because their signature on the petition will count as their vote against Walker.
