Final PPP poll has it 50-47 Walker over Barrett. (@ WisPolitics.Com)

PPP is reporting that its final poll taken over the weekend in WI has Barrett trailing Walker by 3. Once again, as in all polls, Walker can't break 50% and Barrett trails by a little. PPP says that enthusiasm among the RePukes is actually HIGHER and this is the number one factor accounting for Walker's lead. PPP does say that if their survey is extrapolated out based on the 2008 turnout, Barrett edges Walker by a point. So that means HUGE Dem turnout is absolutely critical. And I do know they are working the ground hard. LESS LIKELY DEMS MUST GET THE HELL OUT AND VOTE !!

If Democrats lose this because they ALLOWED the ReSCUMlicans to be "more enthusiastic" and come out in greater force, they will have deserved what they got. There is just no way to sugarcoat that. This is in the hands of the PEOPLE OF WISCONSIN and NO ONE ELSE. It is Walker's to lose, and he CAN LOSE if Dems come out in very high numbers. NO EXCUSE FOR NOT VOTING. ALL DEMS NEED TO VOTE !

I have made several small donations to the cause. Good luck WI Dems. Thanks to all the volunteers. Bang on those doors and call on those phones.

....about Prick Scott.
I ask them did they vote. If the answer is no, they catch hell from me.

4. PPP is generally a pretty honest and accurate poll. Did you read my entire post?

PPP says that Barrett COULD win with VERY high Dem turnout. This is actually a close poll, but they do say it looks to them like they are seeing higher enthusiasm among the Pukes. Other polls have shown that the R's are actually more likely to vote than the Dems. HUGE amounts of money have indeed energized the Pukes. And they want to protect their guy. It is WAR to them. I will give it to RePUKES. They DO vote. The polls shows
a Dem edge with Indies, so they need to get their INDY voters to the polls in a big way too. The KEY is to get HUGE Dem turnout and to get UNLIKELY Dem voters off their butts and the hell to the polls.

Walker is frigging EVIL. It is unreal that this should even be a contest. However, too many Indies are saying. "Well, he won before so let's allow him to finish his term." And still, too many Dems seem to be sitting it out. They are predicting high turnout, but it needs to be VERY high on the Dem side.

We all do thank the Dems who've been working the ground and making calls for all their very hard work, and we also have a good shot at taking back the WI Senate if Dems can win just ONE of the those recalls.

TURNOUT TURNOUT TURNOUT IS EVERYTHING. NO EXCUSE FOR SITTING OUT. NONE !

That's why everyone is working so hard.

We are the most politically divisive place in the nation.

I know this is arousing, and not really in a good way. No matter the effort that's gone into this, and it's been absolutely incredible to witness the ground game, the outcome is going to be ridiculously close. Yes, it depends on GOTV. WE KNOW. I'm sure that from a distance it must feel really powerless to count on others to get your dream fulfilled. This is the most organized ground game across SE Wisconsin that I've seen in ~25 years of living in WI.

Considering the quirks of the polling and the niches in the demographics where Barrett has support, it's quite possible that this is even closer than 50-47 of that PPP. The 3% difference is pretty much the same as the standard error that's about the same....

And THERE STILL IS AN INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE IN THE RACE--Hari Trivedi is polling around 2%. Think about that. 50+47+2= 99%. I have never witnessed an election where the polls on election eve have 1% of the population undecided. Have you?

Tomorrow we put all the planning in motion. It'll be much better than waiting.

11. Calling and door-knocking to monitor the pro-Barrett voters that have been ID'd

The idea is to not assume a vote is cast, to make contact during the day to encourage folks to cast their vote
and/or to thank them when they've voted.
