The DC suburb counties are way more populated than the rest of the state, and their returns come in last. And he was polling well there.

ETA: Time has passed, and now it's been called for Trump.

Trump from hitting the magic number. The party bosses don't want him. They have no problem taking it from him if he misses his target. The more sub 40% showing he has the more I think they'll keep these losers around. The goal now is no majority for the convention.
