We just visited family in Nevada, and found out my brother-in-law voted for Trump. As nuts as he is and has always been, I didn't see that one coming. Ben Carson, maybe, but not Trump. He's always been a kind of unthinking Libertarian, and it's not that he's stupid, he isn't. I think he's just selfish to the nth degree. So he was always a Ron Paul or Rand Paul guy. But Trump?
I did not get, nor did I ask for, and explanation as to why. That would enter the dangerous area of actually engaging with this person. I really do despise him, but he's "family" and his wife is a sweetheart, so there it is.
The GOP is really in the shitter, IMHO.

I think Trump is the perfect person to give this country that nudge it so badly needs.
