Is there a war that Sen. Marco Rubio isn't willing to send your children to die in for the sake of geopolitics? Apparently not.
Juan Cole, a University of Michigan history professor and foreign policy commentator, noticed something terrifying about Thursday night's 11th GOP debate in Detroit that the rest of us missed: During a discussion on "terrorism" - FoxNewsSpeak for "foreign policy" - Marco Rubio promised to launch not one, but four new ground wars for the sake of keeping us safe. By which, of course, he means keeping well-off and mostly white Americans safe. When it comes to the rest of the world- including the young people who join our nation's armed forces- the baby-faced Florida senator doesn't give a damn.
