President Obama: Democrats Will Win in November
We are on the right side of this debate"
President Obama declared definitively that a Democrat will succeed him next year, telling a gathering of House Democrats his confidence stems from his belief that Democrats have the American peoples best interest at heart. Democrats will win in November, he told the House Democratic caucus during their issues meeting in Baltimore, Md.
We are on the right side of this debate, he said. Were not cynical, we genuinely believe that everybody should get a shot.

Boy howdy, do I know what you mean. I re-read everything 3 times before posting to avoid censure.

We must NOT "misunderestimate" the dumbed-downness of the American electorate, though.

I'd sure damn rather have the ruins in the hands of Bernie or Hillary than in Drumpf's.

This election is ours to lose. There's no reason why we should be defeated by an egotistical, overgrown frat boy with zero political experience, or a theocrat with all the charm of Joseph McCarthy.

Opposition research and maintaining the civil high ground will be deciding factors.

And she would be a total disaster for downticket races.

Sure you won, but the country is in ruins. Great win there.
