Facebook bans artist over Donald Trump micropenis painting
Illma Gore, the LA artist behind that viral Donald Trump baby dick pic, has been banned from Facebook for violating its nudity policy. According to reports on Motherboard, the social media site drew the line after Gore posted a censored image of her notorious painting; which originally featured the Republican candidate with a pastel-drawn micropenis.
The haunting image, titled Make America Great Again, was apparently created to evoke a reaction from its audience. The version that Facebook banned, however, included a black bar over the most offensive part (like the one above), so no explicit nudity was actually part of it. Complaints started to rise after the original went viral, though leaving many users stuck with Donald Trumps junk plastered all over their feeds.
In an explanatory piece on her official website, Gore explains that despite appearances she is not actually shaming Trumps body, but is instead trying to highlight that genitals do not define your gender, power or your status.
Make America Great Again was created to evoke a reaction from its audience, good or bad, about the significance we place on our physical selves, she writes. One should not feel emasculated by their penis size or vagina, as it does not define who you are. In other words, she adds, you can be a massive prick, despite what is in your pants.
