A Buddhist monk in Oregon was attacked by a man who mistook him for a Muslim

http://crooksandliars.com/2016/03/trump-s-america-buddhist-monk-oregon

66 years old .
"I was thinking, 'That poor man.' Can you imagine living your life in fear and anger? Can you imagine wanting to do something that you had to hurt somebody?" he said.

"I feel sad. I had just taken my grandson to a mosque in Vancouver last month because he said, 'I don't know what Muslims are,' and I wanted him go meet them and understand," Sampson told the Hood River News. We went so he could see that Muslims are just people like any of us."
