When Trump loses, his voters will still be here

Donald Trump will never be president. Even if he gets nominated, he can’t win the general election no matter who the Dem candidate is. There just aren’t enough deluded people in this country to elect him.

But the past nine or so months have shown us that a dangerous, self-loving buffoon can attract many, many ignorant and/or bigoted voters.

Can we stop this kind of insanity from happening again? Probably not. Ignorance and bigotry are two Republican best sellers. Right now, they’re paying a price for it since Trump is yelling what they’ve always whispered. And when Trump loses, they’ll go right back to speaking in the code of hatred.

So what do we do? The only answer I have is that we humans have to wait until we’ve evolved out of our adolescence. Until then, ignorance, arrogance, hatred, bigotry, and so many other toxic traits will remain parts of our makeup.

Agree or disagree on Trump losing, on his voters, and/or on the adolescence of humanity, I'd like to hear your opinion.

always have been with us, in LARGE numbers just ignored by our MSM. They will always be a huge partt of american mainstream thinking because they prefer to stay ignorant and stupid. Bad combination PoC have been dealing with for GENERATIONS. No thinking person is fooled as to why they remain a threat to the social fabric of this culture....they are needed...trump has proved that finally...it's something that has been known for generations by the cognizant oppressed....they are needed to keep the masses divided against each other.....so we keep our eyes off the peole who are truly ripping all of us off, one dimedollar at a time. All the supposed majority of people disgusted with this level of ignorance and hate have to do is say, ENOUGH. i saw on facebook yesterday this white professor ask a white audience "all who would like to be treated as a person of color is treated in america now, raise your hand". Think any hand went up in that large audience. HELLNO!!!!

They have been here all along. But Trump has "legitimized" them, which is the most frightening thing of all.

Having grown up in a virulently racist environment, I've always known the hatred was there -- and believed it was much, much more pervasive than most people realized. Unfortunately, I've been proven right, not only over the last eight years, but since Trump came onto the scene.

I posted a similar question recently, specifically how can we intercede so this sickness isn't passed down from generation to generation, which IT IS.

It took me a while to find resources, but I finally did when I realized the term I was looking for was "anti-bias" tools:
