I just went to get my taxes done today. Trying to pay off $6,000 in bills for a year now and every time some big issue comes up and I have to take care of that. Just found out because I made $24,000 as a provider I have to pay about $7,000 in Fed Tax and who knows in State. Don't know exact figures. I'm pushing 70 next month and I figure now doing payments to the IRS they will have to auction my ashes to get all of it. This is a lot of money for me but the billionaires would think it pennies and not even notice it was gone. Husband has dementia in memory care facility so have to work no options.

it really pulls the money out. Your tax rate will be small but the 15% social security really jacks up the rate.
