In going forward, protests against Trump would be MUCH more

powerful statements if Bernie/Hillary's names are not brought into
it. It takes the message away from the real concerns about what Trump
represents and makes it all about winning some election. The issue is
much more universal than any one person's campaign or even ideology.
It has to do with something much more basic at the core of our humanity
and the world we wish to live in.

And that is also why it needs to remain NON-violent.
The primary lesson that must be learned if one is to be an effective
non-violent protester is to truly clear your hearts of hate. If not you
can never pretend to be effective leaders or messengers or revolutionaries.
That is exactly why Trump cannot be president.

We are encouraging all Hillary supporters to NOT attend any Trump rally for any reason.

4. As far as we know, there has not been any supporter of Hillary attending any Trump rally to protest

No one has seen any Hillary signs or Tshirts and no Hillary chants have been heard and we have been watching this closely. The Hillary campaign does not want to be associated with this. Trump people are too dangerous.

thinks, says, does or feels. We can only be responsible for our own.
That being said, Trump certainly TRIES to control and manipulate a reaction.
Don't let him.

I'm suggesting we take a breath and consciously
make this commitment to Non-violence out loud to ourselves and
whomever we choose to support. It needs to be front and center
before heading into protest rather than assuming it will
simply be there. Like a mantra and conscious choice.

There are people out there who have experience and training in non-violent
action who I hope will be sought out by the inexperienced who want to participate.
