I seldom watch cable news anymore but saw a few seconds of an interview. Couldn't take my eyes off his hair.
Wasn't it orange before?

Is he just making up for shortness in other areas of his body?

In case you're wondering where THIS came from (!), I once read that narcissists often idealize the look of an admired person when young and emulate that look through life. I read that, and went looking for possible models for The Donald. Troy was a heart-throb movie star when The Donald was an adolescent. Anyway, this theory is my answer to the question of where that hair style came from. It's devolved with follicular aging, of course, but he likely usually still sees his idealized self in the mirror.

syndrome IS of adopting an idealized APPEARANCE that is then held to, often for life. From what I read, when these narcissists look in the mirror they see the idealized appearance.

Also bizarre, reportedly narcissists' way of fantasizing about themselves often isn't in performance of actions like normal people but more of just enjoying a static image of themselves. Boring as that might sound, apparently it is not boring to them. We are talking about a personality disorder after all.

My father worked with a young lady from Russia a few years ago and he raved on and on about her beautiful golden blonde hair. One day he told her he'd never seen hair quite that color before. She told him her sister sent it to her from Russia because "no one sells this color here". Well, he was devastated. All that time he thought it was her natural color!

Sometimes it is bright yellow. Depending on the lighting, it has even looked more gray/blue. Those matching eyebrows are really something, though.

What startled me this morning was his bright Sunkist-orange hue with white eye rings. If he is so damn rich, can't he afford a makeup artist?

The white hair is actually more flattering, IMO.

Damn... dude, hire the services of a professional hairdresser, a really good colorist, and a makeup artist. That hair looks like a bad DIY dye job he or his wife applied. Grey hair can be hard to color and he probably thought that using the brightest color was the best way to cover up the grey. Like a lot of vain, older people, he mistakenly thinks the brassy blond makes him look young and energetic, instead he just appears pompous and clownish.
